- We know your passion for travel. Baku for you - this is just a city that wanted to see or you are preparing for us a big surprise?

- I arrived in Baku, because I could not stay away, as an architect, knowing that there is such a beautiful city with such rapid development. I invited the company Intellect group, and the arrival of organized Mamedia France sarl It was very interesting first-hand look at the architecture of this ancient city.

- And what are the first impression about Baku?

- First impressions of Baku is similar to my first impressions of Shanghai and Dubai, when I first visited the city ten years ago. They were kept in the same stage of rapid development of construction, when the front man who knows how to create, offer opportunities for the implementation of many ideas in architecture. I liked Baku. This is a great city, many new buildings. I see that there are all possibilities for new solutions and new ideas. This is what I call "the booming city."

- What do you particularly like and that, perhaps, did not like it?

- I drew attention to the fact that Baku - a medieval city with deep history and rich traditions. I saw many buildings with historical architecture, and all that I really liked it. I was particularly struck by the Maiden Tower.

But I also noticed that in some cases has been misused modern architecture, which destroys the appearance of the historical heritage of the city. I have seen a number of buildings, which did not correspond to the appearance, image and potential, which now owns the city of Baku in the world. It is very important for these cities to be able to preserve history.

Now you have every opportunity to create a wonderful city with all facilities and amenities for its residents. I know that half the population is concentrated in Baku, Azerbaijan. Therefore, the city simply needs good transport and communication in a more developed infrastructure.

We must not forget that Baku - a city which is located next to the sea, so you need to pay special attention to development in the infrastructure of the city and its surrounding areas, recreational areas where people might well spend their leisure and recreation - spas, gyms, golf, cinemas, etc.

- Many of your projects are just unreal, like space. How do you derive the energy for the imagination at work?

- Despite the fact that I'm a fan of Art Nouveau, that is, stick all the new architecture, all the ideas I draw from the medieval architecture - ancient Egypt, Rome, China. In general, I advocate simplicity. My motto is - simplicity - the key to success in architecture.

- What kind of world-renowned buildings cause your respect?

- Of course, this is the Egyptian pyramids.

- And if you talk about your work?

- My favorite project, which I will now devote more attention - it Sinepanorama. This is my new project - a huge entertainment complex, designed for a wide range of visitors. That youth, and married couples, and businessmen.

- The construction of this complex has already started?

- Not yet. This concept, and I am negotiating in Shanghai, Morocco and Greece on the construction of a network of this project.

- Will we see you again in Baku?

- Probably, yes.
